This first painting was done in the Essence of Spirit studio....

BEFORE AUTUMN ESCAPES US

 

My husband is my biggest fan.  He purchased a professional camera for me - almost the very second I said I wanted to start working on my photography and not just painting and drawing.  The backyard of my home is captured in these moments...just before the leaves fell from the trees and the preparation for winter began to naturally set in.

 

And these photos are like a painting for the eyes to behold...so beautiful, so inspiring...

 

 

READING THIS

I have always loved words. And especially ones that resonate from a place that trigger the desire to pick up my own pen.

This is what I am reading now.

This One Life. Today.

Enjoy this simple life... this one life.
Rest your head.
Quiet the thoughts of things you cannot change.
There are things in life that are not designed to be changed.
Love this one joyous life.

Some of God's creatures have this principle down to a science.
They don't worry about tomorrow.

They live in the Right Now and love this moment for all it's worth. They don't worry as we humans tend to do.

So....do yourself a favor today.

Go outside.
Breathe.
Let the sunshine caress bare skin.
Look.
Listen.
Be.
Rest.
Breathe again.

You learn to quietly sit and behold

the greatness of God in holy moments. 

As dawn breaks forth and your life

like the morning

slowly begins to unfold....

there is no more hesitation to step out in faith....
